Hetty McKinnon started Arthur Street Kitchen after she would dream up hearty, delicious, vegetable-packed salads, pack them onto the back of her bicycle and cycle them around her neighbourhood, delivering lunch to locals. This phenomena of sharing salads soon went national, with the release of her first cookbook Community, which told her story of sharing salads in Sydney and featured sixty hearty, plant-based salad recipes. The second cookbook, Neighbourhood, was released in Australia in 2016 and her latest book Family, is now available in Australia now and is being released worldwide soon.
