The Bialetti Moka Express is the kitchen object most Italian households recognise on sight: stovetop coffee, the way it's been made for the last 90 years. The 6-cup version brews approximately 270ml. Worth noting that Italian "cup" sizing is espresso-shot territory rather than mug territory: each cup is roughly 30 to 45ml of strong coffee. The standard household size: 4 to 6 small Italian-style coffees, or two mugs of stronger morning coffee. The Moka most people own. The original Italian stovetop coffee maker, designed by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933 and produced essentially unchanged since. Cast aluminium body in the recognisable eight-sided art deco shape, bakelite handle, replaceable rubber gasket and stainless steel filter plate. Strong, intense coffee, no electricity required.

- Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth. Do not use detergent, the dishwasher, or abrasive scourers, all of which damage the cast aluminium and reduce flavour over time. Dry thoroughly before reassembling. Replace the rubber gasket and filter plate roughly once a year with regular use. Use on gas, electric or ceramic cooktops. Not suitable for induction cooktops (Bialetti makes a separate induction model for that).

Change of mind returns are welcome within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unopened, in original packaging and in resaleable condition. Choose a refund, store credit or exchange. Return shipping is at your expense. Sale items are final.
